Allego’s JOD, ch. 10

Once again, I have been procrastinating and all that jazz, yadda-yada-yada, aw I ain’t gonna get into the who explanation thing, on with the fan fic.

Now that all of the other maren were released and on the good guy side, they had two choices. One, either get out of the castle and hopefully not be found by wizemen, or two, try and defeat him fully and hope they come out alive.
“I say we face that bully! What could he possibly do?” allego asked.
“What can’t he do? He can easily kill all of us off with one blow from all six of his hands!” jackle said.
“Six…hands?” allego asked.
“Long story. But the point is, you are somewhat right.” Reala said.
“What!? How is he somewhat right?” asked nikita.
“Well, he’s right because if nothing really bad has happened yet from wizemen, he must very weak and vulnerable by now. So if NiGHTS was able to keep him down for this long, we have a pretty good shot. But on the other hand…we could be walking into a trap and all die miserably.” Reala said with a shrug.
“…yeah, you’re a real help there buddy.” Said jackle.
“But who said had to fight him?” asked allego. The others looked down at him and blinked.
“What do you mean?” asked reala, picking his son up.
“Nikita, emil, remember that plan I told you using the red ideya?” allego asked.
“Red ideya?” reala said in surprise.
“Long story, but yes I remember it, but I think it just won’t work.” Nikita said.
“What was your idea?” puffy asked.
“Well you see, you know those gems that hang off his cape?” allego said.
“Yeah. Those are evil ideya though. Why?” reala asked.
“Well, like I said, I convinced emil to explain ideya to me and I figured out that if you combine one of the strongest good ideya, courage, with another evil ideya, the ones on his cape, you get some weird massive, overload if they are not combined properly. That’s why he made maren to get the ideya; because he probably can’t get too close to a really strong ideya without weakening.” Allego explained.
“Geez, what have you all been teaching him while I was away?” reala asked.
“You’d be surprised. But allego, it probably won’t work.” Nikita said.
“Why?” asked allego.
“Well, wizemen wanted the ideya to open a gate to the human world and take it over. I’ve even seen him handle ideya, but never would I think it would hurt him.” Reala said.
“But he didn’t want to absorb them. That means he probably can’t without hurting himself, right?” allego asked.
“I don’t know. But for now, maybe we should just get somewhere safe and think it over. Maybe find NiGHTS while we’re at it.” Reala said.
“Yeah.” Jackle said. The others agreed and decided to head out to moonlight hill for a while.

NiGHTS shot up ahead of marionette and growled under his breath. He was officially pissed that the others just decided to go off to nightmare castle to find him and dragged allego into it.
“NiGHTS! Slow down, I can only fly so fast!” marionette whined.
“Well if you hadn’t thrown such a fit back there, you might be able to keep up! Now keep moving, allego can be in trouble!” NiGHTS called back.
“But what about the other maren, reala, and wizemen?” marionette said, grabbing NiGHTS’ arm and stopping.
“Marionette, listen to me right no-”
“No you listen to me!” marionette yelled, slapping NiGHTS across the face, stunning him so he could talk.
“You listen to me! I am tired of being the pack mule and being in the back of the line where no one can hear him! You will listen and you will obey whether you like it or not! We cannot just go bursting into a maren filled castle with no idea of what we will do with no idea where to start looking for the others or how to defend ourselves! Wizemen can either be dead or alive right now and we don’t know which it is! Now suck it up and think before you act!!!” marionette screamed.
SPURT!
“Ugh…” he moaned, his nose now bleeding. He let go of NiGHTS, who was staring at him in utter shock and disbelief.
“I so just lost the intense moment didn’t I?”  marionette asked as he pinched his nose. NiGHTS nodded and sighed.
“Yeah…but you are right. But I’m just so worried. I feel like I have no time for thinking but acting. You’re right though, we need to think.” NiGHTS said. Marionette sighed with relief and floated down to the ground, sitting on a rock.
“ok good to know I got through to you.” Marionette said as NiGHTS sat beside him.
“Yeah, thanks…but don’t do that again, you scare me when you do that.” NiGHTS said. They both sighed and thought…and thought, and thought, and thought some more.
“Ok I got nothing. What about you?” marionette asked.
“Yes…just one but we need to hurry.” NiGHTS said, flying off with marionette again.

Wizemen chuckled as he continued to watch the maren gang travel through his castle and rested his gaze on allego once again.
“That’s it little one…follow that path and come right on into my web you little pawn. Mwahahahahahaha!” he laughed, shaking his entire chamber as he prepared for his plan to not only take over the maren and human world, but allego as well.
